Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Distribution:
  • Identify new & potential online sellers across various geographies and support in establishing commercial contracts
  • Collaborate with POS leaders across network to manage respective online sellers
  • Devise and drive commercial strategy for the indirect online channel with business intelligence & route heatmaps for OTAs (B2B & B2C & Aggregators)
  • Monitor & address Look to Book (L2B) waste & fare under-cutting by OTAs
  • Manage PSS configurations associated with the indirect online channel and house keeping
  • Full knowledge of Navitaire distribution APIs with clear understanding of XML/JSON Request / Response Logs to address integration queries, project management & deliveries
  • Map & Manage Seller lifecycles (contracts, documentation, registrations, integrations, testing, Go-Live, trainings)
  • Devise and drive Meta Search platform with progressive contribution, settlements (Deposits, BSP, Credit Card, bank transfers) & commercials
  • Responsible for cost & commercials for OTAs & aggregators - commissions, PLBs, routes deals, online tactical campaigns & marketing on seller platforms
  • Supervise appropriate after-sales support through collaboration with the Sales Support Team
  • Digital Marketing & E-commerce:
  • Devise and drive E-commerce strategy, budget & P/L & cost efficiency & control
  • CRO & Analytics – Conversion optimization & Google / Adobe Analytics
  • Devise promotion & campaign strategy for sales promotion, tactical campaigns, festivals, events, new product, features launches and destinations, co-branded promotions with loyalty partners, banks, cards & wallets
  • Payment gateway relationship, commercials, integrations & aggregation
  • Currency acceptance, payment method mapping, success rate optimization
  • Non-Core Ancillary:
  • Devise and drive ancillary attachment & revenue strategy
  • Increase Yield (RevPerPax) to 15% of avg. base revenue
  • Responsible for existing P/L from 20+ ancillary products
  • Product lifecycle (Relationship, engagement, integration, production, monitor & optimization) 3rd party ancillaries
  • Responsible to optimize prices, sales & promotion across sales channels – pre-book, after sales, airport


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration specializing in Sales or any related field.
  • 12+ years of Experience in a similar role/airline e-commerce/sales/distribution
  • Team Management & relationship building
  • Complete knowledge of Navitaire and distribution API (XML/JSON request/response Logs)
  • Attention to detail is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
